My roots
I come from a linage of clairvoyants and healers. Both my parents have the ‘gift of sight’ and mediumship abilities as do my siblings, our children and many extended family members. Some relatives were afraid of being psychic and chose to hide it, while others rejected it, considering it a curse due to religious beliefs. Aside from two of my great-grandfathers (who were best friends), I am the only known person in my family to openly work with this gift.

I grew up in Southwest London, in an old Victorian house that was widely regarded as haunted. I first became aware of the spirit world at an early age and have been fascinated by mysticism and natural magick since childhood.  I recall memories of lying on my parent’s bed, enjoying the balls of light floating in the air above me, which I thought was a normal occurrence that everyone could see. Years later, I realised that what I was seeing was in fact orbs of light-the energy of spirits, deceased loved ones or guardian angels. In my formative years, I regularly had prophetic dreams about myself and others that would come to pass. By the time I was in secondary school my friends all knew that, if I said something was going to happen, it invariably would.

The power of the Divine, magical/supernatural beings, an awareness of other realms, and a belief in life-after- death was instilled in me by my parents. I was taught to believe that these things are a natural part of life that exist alongside us in the 3D world. While my wider family were generally accepting of these things, there were some reservations about my chosen path.

It was during a return trip from Rhodes-Greece in 1990, that I experienced a series of uncanny events that still seem unfathomable to me today. This left me with no doubt that we are watched over by higher powers. Spirit speaks to us through our intuition, and that if we trust and listen to it we will be guided. Up until then, I understood this presence theoretically in accordance with my religious upbringing, but what happened to me in Rhodes was tangible proof of its existence. It was because of this experience that I permanently shifted my mindset into identifying as spiritual rather than religious, as well as fully embracing sacred esoteric knowledge.

Spiritual awakening
Between 2003-2006, my life seemed to be falling apart. I was in a deep personal crisis that negatively impacted my overall wellbeing. The one constant that I lived for was my son. Without knowing it, he was the bright spark that gave purpose and meaning to my life in the midst of the challenges and difficulties I was going through.

My son developed an interest in collecting crystals after being given one by an old friend of mine. Every weekend I’d take him to a crystal shop in our area to treat him to a new one. One day, while he looked for a crystal, I browsed the books on sale and got curious about the healing power of crystalline energy. On an impulse, I bought a crystal bible book.

I began to work with crystals for self-healing, which triggered a spiritual awakening for me, bringing me out of the dark place I was in. Not only did I feel so much better, I found that my psychic abilities had gotten stronger. I wasn’t just clairvoyant (clear seeing), I had become clairaudient (clear hearing) too. In 2009, spirit guided me to work with the Angelic realm, by learning how to read angel oracle cards and to incorporate them into readings. And that’s when I began to channel angelic guidance for others.

Career shift
In 2009, my lifelong obsession with Astrology led me to a three-year course of study at the London School of Astrology. In that year, I took a leap of faith and resigned from my role in primary education as a senior teaching assistant. I retrained as a Crystal therapist practitioner and Complementary therapist, specialising in energy healing modalities. In 2012, I went from giving unofficial free readings for family and friends, to offering professional psychic readings to the public at holistic/wellbeing and spiritual festivals. I also had a stall two days a week at Portobello Road market in Notting Hill- to get me out of the house- selling esoteric, spiritual, and mystical wares until 2015.

To develop my connection with angels further, I took training in Advance Angel mediumship and Scrying (divination) at The College of Psychic Studies in London, where I gave my first ever public angel readings to an audience of just under 100 people. For 15 years I combined different modalities into a service based holistic business.  More recently, I made the decision to return to work exclusively on tarot and intuitive guidance.
